Increases in income inequality have been associated with worsening political polarisation and disenchantment systems (Winkler, 2019). The global economic situation following the COVID-19 pandemic Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine has resulted high inflation sharp increases energy food prices, which disproportionately affect low-income vulnerable households could long-lasting impacts on people’s wellbeing living standards. OECD countries are implementing a range policies to address rising prices redistribute between richer poorer households, such as targeted non-targeted cash transfers, vouchers subsidies firms, price control measures, tax reductions (OECD, 2022). Monitoring changes will be key assessing effectiveness measures.
